Jimmy Carter Contacts North Korea

I am not a fan of former President Jimmy Carter. In fact, it would be truth if I were to say that I believe he is a criminal, both politically and spiritually. Let me explain, years ago, prior to the death of Yassar Arafat, Mr. Cater felt it was his job to make peace in the Middle East. Please don't misunderstand me, I firmly believe that anyone who attempts to create lasting peace treaties between any ongoing conflict does complete a good work.  Messiah Yeshua stated:

9 Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.  Matt 5:8-9 (KJV)

But Mr. Cater felt that he should do his works without discussing his agenda with either the United States or Israel. It was during this time that Carter actually began holding personal discussions with the terrorist organization known as Hezbollah. Without regard that Hezbollah was and is a known terrorist organization, Carter began discussions of the dismantlement of Israel so the Palestinians could get a homeland, Israel. It takes great pride to decide that he alone should be the one to settle the Middle East conflict, a conflict which has continued ever since Biblical times.  Carter is a fool to do so.

Over and over the former president has taken it upon himself to be the paramount mediator across the globe. In his dealings with terrorist groups and governments Carter has begun dialogues with the dictator Hugo Chavez in Venezuela, the terrorist organization Hamas (the current ruling power for the Palestinians), and North Korea's former dictator Kim Jong II. I do not know if Carter has dealt with the Iranian president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, but I am sure he will attempt to do so.

One of the main reasons that I have trouble listening to the exploits of Jimmy Carter is he is totally against Israel. For those of us who take the Bible literallty it is a simple fact that Israel belongs to the Jewish people. Scripture goes so far as to give the exact borders of Israel. Yet, Jimmy Carter has done nothing but show complete and utter disdain for God's Laws.

Carter may be a good mediator (I don't think he is), a fact the world believes in as he received a Noble Peace Award, Yet for those Christians who wish to make sense of the Middle East conflict, Carter's actions just don't add up. The following link is to a recent FOX News report on Cater's latest escapades:

Carter Sends Condolence Letter To Kim Jong Il's Son, North Korean Media Say | Fox News:

What Jimmy Cater fails to realize is that there can be no peace in Israel or anywhere else in the Middle East without God coming first.  Mashiach (Messiah or Christ) alone holds the title "Prince of Peace".  As I have always believed, you cannot solve a religious issue like the Israeli-Palestinian conflict with purely secular negotiations.

I pray that Carter will find God and use it as the foundation for all his negotiations where ever they may be.

Does God Have a Special Place for Israel in the Millennium?

Do premillenialists or dispensationalists have it right? I read a very intersting article on the Gospel Way website.

Gospel Way Israel's future

I found that I agreed with most of what the author wrote, except it cannot be denied that the physical Israel (the Jewish people) have a special importance in the eyes of Adonai.  This is not to say that the author wasn't correct on his view that all Jews and Gentiles are on equal footing.  This is a concept (aka. Olive Tree Theology) that I and The Road to God Ministry take very seriously.  My greatest issue with the article is that the writer implied that all Jews are the same.  Jews are Jews after all.  But the truth is you can no more generalize all Jews any more then you can with Christians.

What do you think?  Send me your thoughts.

Seven-Year Peace Treaty

With over a half a million hits on The Road to God Ministry website in 2011 I, as president, have made many new friends, colleagues and ministry members.  Today one of those contacts called me, all the way from Israel.  Ahmed F. is a twenty-three year old Palestinian member of the ministry.  Ahmed is new to being a Christian and he is in fear of his life for believing in Yeshua haMashiach (Jesus the Christ).  The reason for Ahmed contacting me was that he heard important news from the Palestinian Authority.  Ahmed told me that Israel and the Palestinians are prepared to move forward on a 7-year peace treaty.

The big news here is not that there may be a treaty, Israel and the Palestinians have gone through many such negotiations.  The vital message is that the treaty would last for seven years.  The prophecy of Daniel reads:

24 Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy. 25 Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times. 26 And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined. 27 And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.
Dan 9:24-27 (KJV)

The Alpha News Now Bible Prophecy website interpreted this prophecy in this fashion:

"Then (later) he ("the prince who is to come" ... the coming Antichrist)
shall confirm (enforce)

a covenant ('peace treaty' or 'peace plan')
with many (in Israel)
for one week    (shabua or shabu’im  =  a week of Years  =  7 years)
But in the middle of the week    (exactly 3½ years ... 1260 days ... after enforcing this 'peace' plan)
He shall bring an end to sacrifice and offering.   (there will be a new Jewish Temple built in Jerusalem)
And on the wing of abominations
shall be one who makes desolate ..."  (Revelation chapters 6-20 detail the terrors after this event)
The above informations was provided by, Alpha News Daily website

Over the past year I have done many studies into Eschatology (End-Time Study).  One of the important facts I have always believed in is that when we here of a peace treaty in Israel that is to last seven-years then it is truly the time that we all look to the sky.  This is the time to get "right" with God by accepting the one and true Messiah, Yeshua.

Please do not make the mistake that I am declaring when the Rapture or Second Coming will take place.  No man knows the exact time.  The Gospel of Matthew records Yeshua's words as he clearly stated even He did not know.  It reads,

But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.  Matt 24:36 (KJV)

and,

But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. 38 For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, 39 And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. 40 Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left. 41 Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left. 42 Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come. 43 But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up. 44 Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.  Matt 24:37-44 (KJV)

Rather then trying to blindly pick the exact time, we as Christians should now feel a strong desire to reach our family, friends, and loved ones.  Instead of becoming a predictor of the date, the Bible states that we should be watching for the times and seasons.  The simple question we are left with us is what signs and portents are the precursor to the Tribulation.

And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you. 5 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many. 6 And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. 7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. 8 All these are the beginning of sorrows. 9 Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake. 10 And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another. 11 And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. 12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. 13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. 14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come. 15 When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:) 16 Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains: 17 Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house: 18  let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes. 19 And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days! 20 But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day: 21 For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. 22 And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened. 23 Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not. 24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect. 25 Behold, I have told you before. 26 Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not. 27 For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. 28 For wheresoever the carcase is, there will the eagles be gathered together. 29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: 30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. 31 And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.
32 Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh: 33 So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors. 34 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled. 35 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away. 36 But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.
Matt 24:4-36 (KJV)

Overall it is a lot to think about.  I cannot wait to meet Yeshua, Moshe (Moses), Eli-yahu (Elijah) and Shaul (Paul) I feel that the time of Tribulation is an exciting one, since that means it will only be a short time to wait for Mashiach.

I encourage you to begin your own Bible study regrading this topic.  Send me a comment if you would like to begin a dialogue.

Blessed Father, I thank you and praise you for all the incredibly joyous blessings you have bestowed upon me.  I pray that as we approach the End-Times that you will send the Ruach haKodesh (Holy Spirit) to fill the hearts of all those who remain Lost.  In Yeshua's name, Amen.

Creationists vs Evolutionists; 6-Day Creation

As an orthodox Biblical literalist I take Scripture "as is."  The idea of someone translating the Word of God into a preconceived perception of their beliefs is completely taboo to me.   A hermenuetical view of literalism takes away any personal responsibility we may have in deciding what is true and what is false in the Bible.  One of the doctrines I hold too is based in the fact that the entire Bible is true.  The Apostle Paul wrote in 2 Timothy:

All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:  2 Tim 3:16 (KJV)

The key word in this verse is the word "all."  What we are told here is simple; that each and every word within the Bible, Old and New, are 100% true.  What the word "all" does not say is that we can pick and choose what verses to believe.  This being the case, any study of Creation and deciding if it happened in six days should be simple.  Too many "scholars" have taken their views of Creation to a subjective opinion.  This can be seen in the many views of Creation including:  theism, Gap-Theory, the Big Bang, etc..  I have attached a wonderful article presented by Answers in Genesis (Creation Museum).  Ask yourselves this simple question: are we accepting all Scripture, including the Creation story on face value?  Or are we changing Scripture to fit our own belief system?

Answers in Genesis: Is 6-Day Creation Compatible?

I encourage you to read your Bibles in a literal fashion.  I promise you that the Holy Spirit will guide you through this process and you will gain a new perspective of God's Word.

Does the Latest Science News Speak Ill of Faith?

There were two stories I recently read by Fox News.  The first is,
Scientists Close In On 'God Particle'  and the second is 'Walking' Fish Prompts Evolution Rethink.  Should these news stories effect our faith?  No way!  If anything these science articles should bolster our faith in the Word of God and our Messiah, Yeshua.  After all our faith is not to be given signs and miracles, rather the very definition of faith (Hebrews 11:1) states that we should hold our faith regardless of what man may say.  So where does this inner need to prove God false?  Something to ponder.

Second Earth Found? Location Is Promising | Fox News

Such a fascinating story.  My concern is what information on this planet is fact (provable) and what remains just theory.  False truths of this discovery can easily become a "red herring" for the Lost and those new in their Christian faith.

Joining The Road to God Ministry

Are you a true believer in Yeshua haMashiach (Jesus the Christ)?  Does your heart sing when you minister to others solely by the Word of God?  Do you take the Bible literally?

If you answer yes to all of these questions then you should consider becoming a Member or Partner of The Road to God Ministry.  The one requirement to joining the ministry is a belief in the ministry's Mission Statement and Articles of Faith.  If you are in agreement and you wish to join the ministry then be sure to send us an e-mail detailing your testimony and how you wish to aid the ministry in the future.

The ministry Mission Statement is simple, Romans 1:16:

Ministry's Mission Statement

For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. Romans 1:16 (KJV)

The Articles of Faith are as follows:

The Road to God Ministry's Articles of Faith

menorah1YL.jpg1. To Boldly Present the Gospel of Yeshua the Messiah

 2. Evangelize to the Jew first and then to the Gentile (Romans 1:16); But BOTH MUST BE EVANGELIZED EQUALLY

 3. Adhere to the tenet of Olive Tree Theology; Jewish & Gentile Believers of Yeshua can worship together and maintain their own cultural distinctiveness.

 4. Preach and teach against all forms of Replacement Theology!!!!!!!

 5. To teach the Jewish roots and Jewishness of true Biblical Christianity to all Christians.

 6. We are BIBLICAL LITERALISTS, taking the words of the Bible whenever possible. The ministry uses the Jewish TANAKH for the Old Testament and the KING JAMES VERSION of the Bible for the New Testament.

 7. The evangelistic work done by The Road to God Ministry is always completed by it's creed that, "We are working to build God's Kingdom, and not man's empire."

 8. We always evangelize and teach the literal doctrine of the imminent return of Messiah Yeshua and the Rapture of His church. Believing such, we feel there is a great urgency in witnessing to all the Lost, both Jews and Gentile
